Has it been that long?

Wow has it really been that long since I've posted?  I guess that it has...lol.  I feel like I'm stuck in my old ways again.  I really haven't accoplished much of anything as far as getting organized.  I took a step forward, and two steps back.  I had to get my daughter enrolled in her new school last week, so looking for all of that paperwork created a bigger mess than I had.  We took her to the ER last night for strep throat!  It's just been a little chaotic. 

I know I will feel better when I can post something that's an acutal accomplishment.  Wish me luck.  If there are any words of encouragement feel free to post them...I sure could use some!  :o)

I have a Confession!

Well, I must admit I didn't start on my closet on Friday.  My hubby's birthday was this weekend, so I had to run around finishing up his scrapbook that I made online.  I like to add stickers to them that way they have an even more personal touch.  Of course, that means I had to tear out all of my stickers and go through them all to find what I was looking for...because guess what...my craft room isn't organized either...just like the rest of my life!  lol..I'm on a mission to change that.  It's just going to take time!

I did also venture out into making something! Yay me!!  I had my first attempt at making baby wipes!  They smell wonderful, and turned out ok.  I want to make some changes to the recipe before I post a tutorial, but that's the next first to come.  I've never created a tutorial before. 

Cleaning Organizing

Yesterday, I decided it was time to scrub down my bathroom...and that has spiraled out of control.  Today I'm on a war path.  As soon as I feed the kids lunch, and put Owen down for his nap I'm moving on to my closet.  I have a feeling that this is going to take a few days, because I keep putting everything in there saying, "I'll get to that later."  I have a new mindset.  I'm going to completely finish one thing before going on to another.  Wish me luck!

Here's to the beginning!

Well, now it's time to start this thing off.  I've got the blog started, now let's keep moving forward!  With school starting, and summer coming to an end, I probably should have waited to start this, but alas here I am.  I'm really excited to venture off into the art of blogging.  My plans are to log my crafting experiences.  I'm sure there will be the occasional family related blog as well.  So to anyone who finds the way here, please enjoy and feel free to leave a comment.
